Reflecting back to how I was so set on the both of them staying in the Amesbury schools--and how scared I was of Zach making the transition. We survived.
And what a great year it was! Both Zach and Emma enjoyed the teachers, new friends and new schools. I really don't have any negatives. I am happy that the school and teachers worked with Zach to get him and up and running. He really came far this year. Emma also worked so hard. She is obsessed with Brainquest workbooks and continuously has her nose in one. She loves to read too.
Next year Emma is in 2nd grade and Zach is in 5th. Can't believe it.
Now if the sun would just come out.
And now I also need to train the kids to sleep late! I guess we can stop going to bed at 8pm and stay up a bit.
