A great day in Boston!

Yesterday morning we took the am train into Boston. Big plans for the day.



We started out taking a walk along the Charles River. Then headed over to the Museum of Science to get in line for our 1st ride on the Duck Tours. This was great! Kids really had fun with this. And the tour and history they go over is fun. The driver we had was funny with his history and jokes he had.
The driver of the boat encouraged all the kids to come forward and drive. They loved it! The driver asked each of them where they are from and so on. We took the tour through Beacon Hill,the Back Bay, Newbury Street, over near the commons, near the north end, Copley Square and so on. Very neat to see the houses, eateries and shopping that one wouldn't necessarily see going into Boston. Well speaking for myself anyways!

There was another family on the boat with us that lives in Newburyport.
It was a nice warm day--but not to hot.

After the tour we visited the museum. They currently have a butterfly exhibit which was pretty cool. Very peaceful and relaxing to watch the butterflies float through the air.






Took a walk through all the exhibits and we done in time to catch the 5pm train home. If you ever have the opportunity to go on the Duck Tours while in Boston--I think it's a must do!!!!!!
