Such sadness today!

We received news yesterday about our great friend Chief. A 7 year old yellow lab who's life has just come to a screeching hault!!!! Chief is in renal failure and apparently has been for some time. This not what we expected when we took our pal to the vets about eating part of his blanket.






Chief we love you and will miss you!!! He has been such a great pal to our kids-especially since we have moved to Newburyport. And this is something that kind of blind sided us along with everyone else that knows him.

Im sorry we can't fix his kidneys! But we will cherish all the memories. These pictures were taken this morning before the kids went to school.

It was nice that Chief actually had his own visitors yesterday--as family came to say Goodbye!!
