I know! I have not done a good job with keeping this up. No real reason other than we moved and things are just kind up in the air. The move went well. We had a lot of help and we were done in no time at all.
We moved in Labor Day weekend. Since then we are just trying to get our lives back to normal. Or as normal as it can be.
The house is not done. We have painting to do and the hardwood need their second coat, garage doors and master shower hopefully will be done soon. Our closet people are coming this week to install the shelves and racks.

Here are some pictures of the kitchen.

We have this really great cooktop stove. Im hoping at some point we'll be cooking Sunday pancake breakfasts on the griddle.

As you can see we have this huge island. No kitchen table this time around. The granite gets a lot of comments because it is one huge piece. I think it's like 6 X 7. But at this point it's just collecting stuff. Each time Im close to having it cleaned off more stuff appears. I haven't quite figured out where everything is going in the cabinets. So some of it sits on the counter for now.

Sorry I can't figure out how to change the pictures to the upright position from here. Zach's room is a great slate color. His bedroom is in the front of the house. He has a huge window that needs curtains soon. From his window he can see the street out front and the helicopter coming in and leaving the hospital. Emma's room is on the side of the house. She see's woods or grass. She has a really nice window seat in her room. With a built in cedar chest.

This is in the masterbath. Toilet is in its own little room. We have double vanity sinks. This is my soaker tub. Which is up and running now JOANNE!!! Feel free.

The shower is awaiting its glass. Sorry the picture is sidewards.

This tan room is the room above the garage which at this point gets the most use. All the papers is Jeff's great filing system. Actually it's from being in an apartment for the year and not being able to file at all.

This first picture is formal living room in the front of the house looking back into dining room. I love the book cases--not sure on the books I will put in them. Maybe a nice set of encyclopedia's someday.

This is standing in kitchen looking through dining room into formal living room.

And lastly! The cherubs. He we are with all of this space and places to go. They can be found playing in the basement!

So now some of you know why I work so much. 1 to make money for the house and 2 to escape the everyday situation of trying to get settled.
Until next time!

Well, I think the house looks great
not sure if you will ever be able to see the island top........good luck with that, my trick is to slide most stuff off the island into the draw......it works every time for a quick clean up........
