Rain rain go away!

Kind of a dreary day here. We woke up with just enough time to eat breakfast and leave for summer school. I slept good lastnight but was so tired today. Didn't feel so hot!Emma is painting the base board in her room.
Zachary is making a sign. Something about protesting and Newburyport not being fair!

I started packing more stuff today. Picked up some boxes yesterday. Also worked on getting some paint colors for bedrooms, family room and bathroom picked out. I'm so bad at matching colors. Trying to coordinate rug color--wall color and trim is killing me. I think Zach's room will be all set. The others room is a work in progress.

Here's a picture of our completed fireplace. They will be back Friday to finish cleaning the rocks. If you look you can see near the top the rocks are a different color-almost a visible line.


One of my most favorite rooms in our house is the master bath. Here's a picture of the shower that is a work in progress.

And then this a picture of the stairway that goes up the main entry of the house. It's going to be beautiful.

And Im assuming will decorate nice for Christmas.
Emma and the guy that has done all of the excavating planted our backyard yesterday. It was funny to watch them pushing the seed spreader together. Talking away. You would think she knew him forever. And he doesn't have daughters so it was a cute site. Jeff spread some salt water hay all over the back. So hopefully we will soon have grass out there. The front yard is going to take some time I think!
