One of the girls I work with had asked me lastnight if I had watched America's Got Talent. I saw bits and pieces of it. Not a show I usually watch.
Donna (1) went on to describe a piece of the show that I knew I had to go home and watch right away.
Take a look for yourself. This is so touching. The song they start the interview with along with the song he sings. I think the song he sings is awesome--listen to it and think of the world of Autism! I don't know how there was a dry eye in the audience.
I still remember a lot of Zach's first. I don't remember actual ages but for him I have a lot written down. Zachary's first word was Helicopter. He had early intervention come in along with an intensive early intervention. These girls worked on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I believe I have that on video tape.
One afternoon I picked him up from Preschool--so at the age of 3. We were walking towards the house and all of the sudden he started singing. Wow this was amazing--my Zach was singing word for word Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow- Picture. See below.
Yes there are alot more appropriate songs for a 3 year old to sing. But the fact was he was singing!!!!! Music is good for the mind, body and spirit!

I usually watch America's Got Talent, but must have missed that one. Nothing like a good cry on a Saturday morning! Cathy
